I've got so much stuff to do, such as sleeping, eating, drinking, then eating again and sleeping! That's why I often forget to post a comic. I think I can't stand this strict schedule anymore. So I will post every now and then. And I promise you that Nyashka will have an Orthodox week some time! Don't be mad at me!
The weird picture above describes a dream that I had tonight. I dreamed that I was getting my nipples pierced and the guy who was doing it had a collection of rare telephones. One of them combined a cellphone and a winery and looked somewhat like that. Probably I watched too much Futurama last night.
Also, yesterday I saw the band I usually refer to as 'my band' (i. e. ,waterfeel) from the audience and not from the stage. For the first time. The place was disgusting but the guys played well. And their new drummer is pretty good. Funny that he is an ENFP, too.

Moderator release

The Moderator, a campus magazine about nudity and sexuality, was officially released last Saturday. They published three of my photos and the cover was also of my authorship! I can't say that I'm perfectly content with everything concerning this magazine. But anyway, there are things to be proud of and also mistakes.

I'm listening to a French band Kalisia covering How Could I - one of my favorite songs by Cynic, the founding fathers of technical death metal. The cover version sounds nice, but Kalisia didn't add anything new to the original version (a couple of guitar solo alterations doesn't count).

A European glitch artist Hecq featured a rare hip-hop artist Nongenetic in one of his compositions (I Will Survive on the album Steeltongued). I liked the voice and the manner of speaking, so I looked up his name and found a project called Shadow Huntaz featuring him and four other guys. It's an abstract hip-hop band, the music is really interesting. And I'm happy to hear the familiar voice, but the lyrics at times can be just disgusting. So I have a rather controversial impression.

I'm a bit down due to unsuccessful sales. Probably it's just not my field and I need to do something else. Like packing presents or programming (oh my god). Communication with real people in the real world just feels terrible.
I also want to go home and I'm happy that I'm going away in a couple of weeks. I miss my old friends and I miss the feeling that I belong somewhere. Everything else makes me angry and I even started to wear headphones around campus again.
This Saturday, I'm going to the Moderator presentation (it's a college magazine about nudity). Most of the photos in the Moderator are taken by me, and I want to walk around in my httpants, drink fake champagne and feel important. But I will also feel superlonely. What's the point?

I never understood people who went to parties they didn't like. If they don't care about the party but just want to get wasted and hook up with someone, they must have problems.
Drinking is only a temporary solution. I don't get drunk any more because I realized that being sober is more fun - you notice more things. Alcohol will just numb the pain but one will never get rid of it by suppressing it. If you drink to dissolve the awkwardness, you will never beat it. Probably you just hang out with the wrong people, people that you have nothing in common with.
The most ridiculous thing in Bard are parties that are announced as "sexy". There is awkwardness in the air - it seems that everybody is waiting for a starting signal for sexual action and doesn't really know what to do.
One-night-stands never worked for me because I need to know the person. Sex for me is more than a mechanical act. I wouldn't like to be used as a means to an end, and I try not to use other people, either. If it happens, I feel bad for myself and for them.
I can dance in my room alone, getting the same result but not having a withdrawal later. Yes, this is an angry entry. I wonder why people still think I'm cool.

I like the organization of space there, this magic that makes a small graveyard look spacious. When I walked around Boston, I realized with horror that an average American cemetery is likely to be boring. It's because it lacks this feeling of space.
